About Me

I am Ashraful Tauhid, born on September 22nd, 1995. I successfully completed my Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from Cantonment Public School, Momenshahi, achieving a perfect GPA of 5.0/5.0 in 2012. Subsequently, I obtained my Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Notre Dame College, Dhaka, maintaining a flawless GPA of 5.0/5.0 in 2014.

In January 7 of 2019, I graduated from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) with a Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Engineering (ICE). My academic achievements were recognized through the award of BUP scholarship and stipend, acknowledging my exceptional semester results based on GPA.

Following my graduation, I joined Skoder Technologies, a prominent IT solutions company based in Bangladesh, where I served as a data analyst for almost 2 years.

In August 2021, I embarked on a journey to attain a Master's degree in Computer Science from the esteemed University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV). My dedication and commitment to my field were further acknowledged with the bestowal of a Presidential Graduate Research Assistantship award, a prestigious recognition that highlights my dedication to advanced studies and research.

Investigated the Spotify Music Dataset, revealing genre correlations and dynamics over 23 years, then developed a Tableau dashboard with time series plots and scattered plots to understand data patterns, identifying growth opportunities and streamlining operations

Video Games Sales Dataset Analysis

Utilized Python for data cleaning and analysis of historical sales data, uncovering a major decrease in offline purchases post 2008 traced to a rise in online game sales, informing strategic decisions to bolster in-store traffic.

HR Data Analytics

Conducted comprehensive data cleaning and exploratory analysis on an HR dataset, uncovering attrition trends. Translated these findings into an interactive Power BI dashboard with 5 KPIs. This tool empowers stakeholders to understand attrition factors and make informed decisions.

Brazilian E-commerce Data Modeling and Visualization

Brazilian ecommerce data: 100k orders (2016-2018) from Olist Store. Insights on orders, customers, products, and reviews. Geolocation info included. Anonymized and fictional names used.

World Cup Goals Dataset Analysis

Carried out exploratory data analysis on the FIFA World Cup goals (1930 - 2022) dataset using Python Pandas & NumPy and found out that the rarest goal in the history of this event happened on 9th December 2022 game between Brazil and Croatia.
